# Data center commissioning QA

AI halls are energized on compressed schedules by stretched electrical crews. Leyoxa Verify produces evidence for every connection before energization and watches it under load. Qualified engineers make every acceptance decision.

## Where it helps

- **Before energization (Levels 2–3).** Switchgear, busway, UPS, PDUs and RPPs: every label checked against the one-line diagram, every lug checked for its torque mark and matched to its torque record.
- **Test results.** Insulation resistance, contact resistance, breaker and relay tests read from the test sets and checked against NETA acceptance limits, with outliers flagged even when they pass.
- **Under load (Levels 4–5).** Thermal scans during load-bank testing and integrated systems testing catch the joint running hotter than its neighbours.
- **Handover.** Findings with photos, locations and the standard they cite, closed on an iPhone and collected into the turnover package.

## Why now

A one-month delay can cost up to $14.2M on a typical 60 MW data center ([STL Partners, 2025](https://stlpartners.com/press/delays-in-data-centre-construction/)), and across 25 million sq ft of 2025 data center builds, electrical containment went in at 59.4% of the required pace ([Buildots](https://buildots.com/lab/data-center-mep-benchmarks/)). Crews are short; the checks are not optional.

## On a live site

- **Humans accept.** Verify supplies evidence and flags anomalies; your engineers decide.
- **Safe by design.** Visual checks on de-energized gear; thermal under load through IR windows or with qualified staff, per NFPA 70E.
- **Imagery stays on site.** Edge processing; nothing leaves unless you export it.
