# Energy commissioning QA

*Leyoxa Verify starts with AI data centers. The same checks apply here, and this is where we go next.*

Solar, battery storage, substations and on-site power all end the same way: thousands of connections that have to be right before the system is energized. Leyoxa Verify checks them, reads the test results, and writes the handover.

## Where it helps

- **Battery storage.** Busbar joints, DC and AC wiring and auxiliary systems checked before energization, then watched under the first charge and discharge cycles.
- **Solar.** String test results and IV curves read across the whole plant, with the string that passes but underperforms its peers flagged, checked against IEC 62446 limits.
- **Substations and switchyards.** Terminations, labels and relay and breaker test results checked against the design, with thermal scans under first load.
- **On-site power for data centers.** Switchgear, transformers and generator connections verified before the facility depends on them.

## Why now

In EPRI’s database of battery storage failures, 72% of failures with a known system age happened during construction, commissioning or the first two years of operation, and most traced to build quality in wiring, cooling and safety systems ([EPRI with TWAICE and PNNL, 2024](https://www.powermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/bess-failure-report.pdf)). The cheapest place to catch them is before energization.

## On a live site

- **Alongside your crew.** It captures, checks and documents; your testers decide.
- **Safe by design.** Per NFPA 70E, with thermal under load through IR windows or with qualified staff.
- **Built for big yards.** On a cart or in a technician’s hand first; a robot for repeated sweeps across large outdoor sites.
